NEW YEAR GREETINGS

And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year: Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown. And he replied: Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light, and safer than a known way.

2008 what a year to left behind.So much have happened in 2008 which would soon be in history after few years...

When the clock strikes twelve on December 31st, people all over the world cheer and start exchanging New Year Wishes with their dear ones. With personal greetings along with a warm hug to the ones who are with us, while SMS ,e-mails,and new year cards are been send to the dear ones who are staying in different countries and cities.For some, this event is no more than a change of a calendar. For others, the New Year symbolizes the beginning of a better tomorrow. So, if you look forward to a good year ahead, spread happiness with wonderful New Year wishes.

Happy New Year!" That greeting will be said and heard for at least the first couple of weeks as a new year gets under way. But the day celebrated as New Year's Day would be same as every year 31 dec come and change the chapter of one year to another one this year 2008 would be completed and its place would be taken by 2009.

As Edith Love joy Pierce had said "We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called "Opportunity" and its first chapter is New Year's Day. "
So never let the opportunity go away from you ...As another year comes quickly to a close and we come face to face with the things we didn't get done last year and the new promises to do them and others this year-maybe it's time to change our strategy.

New Year is a time of celebration, beginning of all the new work and activities where as leaving all the worst deeds in the past. I truly hope you are looking forward to the holidays and the New Year, and I want to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you the best of times.I know there must be lot happened in the past year which forces us not to celebrate or be happy in this year but let's not forget that we really do have something to celebrate. We are still here. That's something to be thankful for. We still have people that care about us. And we all have the capacity to make things better. Isn't this freedom to create a better world for ourselves and our loved ones?

Let's get happy and celebrate the spirit of the New Year. Let’s do something that will give us a better future. Let's become part of the solution instead of part of the problem
New Year is a time to ring out the Old and ring in the New with fun, party and celebration among our friends and families. It is that time of year again when we find ourselves saying things like "pata hi nahi chala yeh saal kahan chala gaya?" or maybe even "I will do this and that this year". Well, whatever it is you are saying, I suggest you to dig a little deeper and reflect a little more; to consciously complete this year.

Resolutions are taken to improve the faults and mistake done in the past year and not to continue in upcoming year.But frankly speaking i don't believe in resolutions cause mistakes are the first things which symbolize as person as human and we are made to make mistakes but yes i think a person should knew that his mistake should not become a curse or someone else."Resolutions are made to break"

New Year is a best time to wish your friends and families for their success and prosperity in upcoming year. For this purpose greetings and well wishing cards are used as an effective means to wish each other.

Traditionally, it was thought that what they did on the first day or first few minutes of the year affect the luck they would have throughout the coming year . For that simple reason or escuse, it has become common for folks to celebrate the first few minutes of a brand new year in the company of family and friends. Parties often last into the middle of the night after the ringing in of a new year. It was once believed that the first visitor on New Year's Day would bring either good luck or bad luck the rest of the year. So, best wishes for your friends and families in the beginning of the year may bring lots of luck and prosperity for them.

Don’t sit back and wait for the best wishes to arrive instead step forward and send best wishes to your nearest and dearest ones. You can find lots of New Year wishes ,sms and greetings on web.

A New Year’s Prayer
May God make your year a happy one!
Not by shielding you from all sorrows and pain,
But by strengthening you to bear it, as it comes;
Not by making your path easy,
But by making you sturdy to travel any path;
Not by taking hardships from you,
But by taking fear from your heart;
Not by granting you unbroken sunshine,
But by keeping your face bright, even in the shadows;
Not by making your life always pleasant,
But by showing you when people and their causes need you most,
and by making you anxious to be there to help.
God’s love, peace, hope and joy to you for the year ahead.
